Efficiently Mash Potatoes with the Good Cook Potato Masher Review

This is a very good potato masher at a great price. I used it yesterday to make puree. Did the job in no time. Plus, it won't scratch the surface, even on non-stick pans.

We replaced our old pusher with this one when it broke. So far we love this one. It mashes very effectively and separates the potatoes easily. The construction looks a bit cheap, but it looks solid and works.

I am satisfied with the crusher. Unbeatable $3.50. Seems strong enough. The presence of rounded edges is an advantage when pureeing in a bowl or pan. I also prefer a pusher that doesn't have a multi-hole cleaning screen. Single row meshes are easier and quicker to clean.

Bought for pinto mashed beans. I haven't tried it with potatoes and I don't intend to. It grinds pinto beans like a real boss, cutting the tedious process down to just a few seconds. This crusher is exactly what I was looking for. My old metal crusher can be used for a lot of things, but not a non-stick pan. This one can. It's perfect for roasted beans and won't damage the non-stick coating of my new skillet. Cooking time for the beans is greatly reduced since they don't have to be mashed up in a bowl and then added back to the pan. It was boring and dirty.
