The retractable handle often detaches when pushed

When I pull the handle to extend it, the extension often detaches. I've also found myself using just over 2 tablespoons per cup of coffee. Difficult to measure more coffee accurately with this deeply curved spoon. I should have looked for a 1 tablespoon scoop that would be more adaptable.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Useless functions

A little flimsy but works

I have this cat food measuring spoon for my cat masters so we don't have to monitor as much. Good for measuring and easy to clean in the dishwasher. However, the retractable part of the handle is a little weak and cannot be locked after retraction. So it's not super cool. But otherwise it serves its purpose as intended.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No instructions

Great little owl!

I ordered this because it was the cheapest I found on Revain. I was surprised that this is such a high quality product. This is a sturdy scoop and fits perfectly in my coffee can without interfering with the closing. I used to have one that had a longer handle and it was difficult to close the canister. I love it so much I ordered a second one for my other coffee canister.

  • Fits many

Great for measuring small dog food

I use this to measure dry food for my small Shih Tzu dog. The short handle helps it fit in the container along with the food, and since she only gets 1/4 cup per meal, we only needed a tiny spoonful. Two of those and we're good! I don't use the long handle but it seemed sturdy at first but then fell off in the wash. But overall it's enough for my purposes.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Negative gift

For $2 to $3 you can get a stainless steel shovel with a stiff handle.

I give 2 stars because the size of the blade seems to be right. But the key feature of this shovel that drew me to buy it is that the handle can be extended and retracted as needed. However, the mechanism to lock the handle in the extended position does not work. So when you reach to the bottom of the coffee bag to grab a spoon, the handle flips up and you have no leverage in the extended position. DO NOT recommend if you need a longer measuring spoon. And if you don't need a longer spoon…

Easily scoops about 2 tablespoons

I use this to scoop coffee into a one cup coffee maker at work. He easily gains about 2 tablespoons. The handle slides out so I can really get some ground no matter how much I have in my bag. Without the retractable lever, I sure would have had trouble getting coffee out of the bottom of a 6-inch coffee bag. This would be a disaster for my productivity during the day. It should be noted that if you want 4 scoops, you will need approximately 2 scoops. If you only want 1 tablespoon please don't…

Exactly what I wanted but a little cheaper

I've just moved and am stuck in the coffee maker with a teaspoon of coffee. This turned out to be a disaster because I shook a lot and ended up spilling coffee all over the place. This spoon allowed me to scoop coffee without spilling it all over the place. It works great in the normal position with a little grip, it's solid. Pulling the handle, the cheapness of the product becomes obvious. Instead of gently expanding outward, it splits in two, and then you have to put it back together, like a…
