I rarely leave comments here; but I wanted to let future buyers of this set know that those who wrote negative reviews about the covers of this set are right! The lids don't work at all. I'm not at all willing to pay $60 for a plastic kit that doesn't work that well. I expected more from oxo.com!

Another OXO product that I bought to replace a spoiled chef's product. The rubber base and strainers for each bowl were just what I wanted. Space-saving and fully functional. I wasn't sure how well the kids would work as they are so heavy but they work well and fit well. My only wish (even for the PC brand) is for the lids to be nested too. I only plant shells on it, but was hoping for real nesting.

I thought it was glass. The "sea glass" in the description is a color, not a substance. This is a durable and lightweight plastic sea glass strainer. I have a much more expensive enameled metal strainer that I have replaced with this in my daily life. It's light, beautiful and comfortable. It matches my curtains and pots and looks like real "sea glass" on the fridge.

All lids do not attach easily to bowls and the average size requires a lot of effort to attach. As another reviewer noted, the lid doesn't fit the bowl. I bought the bowls in late May and then used a medium size in June and the lid was difficult to put on. In July I wanted to return the set but I couldn't send it back through Revain because I don't understand what the warranty on the shells is. Aside from some issues with the lid and lack of transparency on the warranty, the products work well.

I'm starting to think there's still a company that cares about making this colander perfectly light, strong and very practical. I'm 72 years old and my hands want to but can't always work the way they should, this product helps a lot. The handles actually offer a good grip without too much pressure.
