📡 Google WiFi Wall/Ceiling Mount Holder for Mesh System - Space Saving, Enlarging Coverage, Reinforced Unity (3-Pack) Review

I installed two Google WiFi nodes on the ceiling by removing them from the shelf and one was in the ceiling where I had a hole. They match the first generation node perfectly and I think the ceiling installation has increased the coverage area.

I bought this to install a Google Mesh hotspot on my garage ceiling. The panel was easy to install and the ring fitted easily and bonded well. My only concern is that two of the tabs on one of the items in the box were broken. Don't twist too hard as I think the quality of the plastic blades can be questionable.

The bracket was very easy to install on the wall. Connecting Google WiFi to the mount was difficult at first, but once I found out everything else was a breeze. The mount holds Google WiFi and I can keep it away from my kids hands high up on the wall which was the main reason I bought the mounts and they do what I wanted.

We converted our home into an Air BnB rental home and wanted to turn on Wi-Fi, but it's harder to mess with. We had Google washing machines, so we figured we'd mount them high on the wall along with the outlets so renters couldn't accidentally turn them off. They were perfect, if you have the old google grid system they fit perfectly, I highly recommend them. Easy installation with two screws and anchors included with each bracket.

I've used them to mount access points to the ceiling but haven't done so yet, but based on my initial testing, they'll work great. a slightly larger hole in the center of the power/ethernet cable base plate. These would be great for ceiling mounting and it seems they are designed more specifically for wall mounting. show focus!

My only complaint is that there isn't a slightly larger center hole in the center of the bottom panel for the power/ethernet cables. I have never been able to get good mesh strength and have used it in an apartment of only about 1000 square feet. ft. I wanted a three point system because it would work anywhere I move, I have a lot of smart devices connected so a multi point system seemed like a no-brainer to expand device connectivity. I bought this mount for my Google Wifi mesh router (first generation model). I mounted it on the wall and not on the ceiling because I don't have a ceiling outlet for it. I really like this attachment idea, but I think it could be improved. I've seen the following issues and suggest fixing them when planning the next model: 1.
