This is the same frame as my Hero5. I only needed a second one so I could glue the floating one too so I basically have one frame for dry use and one for wet use now.

Perfect fit and exactly what I need. If I had any criticism it would be that the clasp at the top is a bit tight and difficult to open. In a way that's a plus, but having to peel the skin off my knuckles every time I want to take the camera off is a little annoying.
There are no complaints about this cover, it closes very securely. Will also fit anything GP compatible. Just a note: Must be used with a waterproof camera as it is not fully enclosed like previous generations. It may be obvious to some, not to others. All in all a great solution for my Hero7.
This is a genuine GoPro frame/mount. NO flimsy, flimsy fake! The real thing - THIS - fits snugly and securely holds its shape when picked up or taken off. I bought an unbranded item thinking I would save a few bucks, but THAT was a mistake. The fake plastic was very brittle and flexible and didn't inspire confidence in me that it could hold my GoPro on bumpy bike rides. I won't make that mistake again. This real GoPro frame will probably outlive the camera!
I mount my GoPro camera to the front of a recumbent bike with a CMC Cfinecut aluminum mount. After about 6 weeks, the frame that came with the camera broke and one of the mounting ribs on the bottom broke off. Part of the problem may be that it's difficult to tighten the mount just enough to keep the camera from tipping forward when I hit a dip, leading to repeated adjustments while on the move. This replacement broke when I checked to make sure it was tight. I replaced it with a Luxebellβ¦
