so maybe not the way you would wear pants but if you're ever looking for a shortcut in Vermont and decide to slide your butt on a very steep and icy ski, will these pants pass the test! LOL I would like to order a size up although judging by the sizes a medium would suffice but they were a bit tight but it just encourages me to get in better shape. Overall great quality, definitely waterproof, abrasion resistant and keeps the wind and cold out pretty well if you stand still for some time.

I recently ordered these and have already worn them twice while hiking at 25-35F. It's VERY warm and I didn't need long johns underneath in these temperatures, although I suspect that when the temp drops below 0 they will. They are so well made, very comfortable. I like everything about these pants: style, colour, fabric, warmth and quality of cut. I ordered them for a trip to Alaska but I will wear them on every cold day because they are so cute. The instructions say to hand wash but I just put the washing machine on COLD delicates and then hang to dry. I'm 5'4" and 118 lbs. I originally ordered the xs but had to exchange for a small.
