Just rode 5 days in Taos with these gloves. 3 of those days were cold and with a lot of snow. Even when the outside of the gloves was quite damp, my hands were completely dry and warm. I've never had to use a chemical hand warmer. They're fairly bulky, but that's to be expected if you want warmth. I have another pair of Gordini, they are much lighter but not as warm.
