Gorilla Waterproof Patch Black (Model 4612502) Review

It really works. I used it in my brick mailbox which had some rusted holes and my mail got wet. It helps, but be patient and have an extra pair of hands because I've never come across duct tape like this lol.

My dog gnawed 2 holes in this film while drying, and we only had it a week. I received this tape and it works great. Waterproof, flexible after application, thick and very sticky after application. I'm not disappointed at all.

The easiest way to fix a leak under the sink 😆 For some reason a hole was punched in one of my pipes (it seems to be in the picture). I just put some of that duct tape on and smoothed it out and TADAA, my sink is fixed and the floors are no longer wet! I tried this and yes, it works great! water doesn't come out. Definitely recommend! Super happy :)

I used this to repair a TPM (white membrane) roof. Very sticky thick sticky glue like crazy at 50 degrees and up. Cooler temperatures may require the application of gentle heat (such as a hair dryer). The adhesive is so thick that when you press the patch with your fingers, some of the adhesive sticks out around the edges. We've had some snow and rain lately and the roof patches held up until I could get a more professional repair.

I bought this to quickly fix a leaking gutter. Winter weather and there was neither time nor inclination to tear down the drain in time for repairs. The instructions say this tape doesn't fix the seams, but it fits me perfectly. I did a lot of cleanup and prep work. I used a heat gun to heat the gutter section so adhesion is good. Rebuilt and has been working great for 2 months now. This is so far with a record year of rain and 2 extreme cold snaps. I am impressed!

A note about this ribbon. It works great but behaves differently than other types of tape. That said, it comes off the roll easily and doesn't seem very sticky. Not even half as sticky as regular Gorilla Tape. This makes it easy to use and move around if you can't get it where you want it. But after a while the glue softens and gets really really sticky and sticky. After that, it will be very difficult for you to remove it if you want.
