Excellent workmanship. Thick metal blades. Stable wooden handle. The perfect length for any grill. Don't be put off by the price. They will be in your family for generations.

Fresh out of the box, 2 handles loose, a rivet sticking out of the wood, splinters on a handle. The box was pierced with a skewer when first used. I'm trying to contact support. :(I also bought 1 inch wide bandages and they were much better. EDIT: Goutime contacted me about this. Will post/revise review depending on final result.

After years of using narrow skewers I wanted to improve and try real Turkish skewers where the meat doesn't turn when you turn them. These are by far the best I've seen or used. Works very well on sweaters that fall off others. The handles are made of oak and the skewers are very strong and wide, which heat and cook the meat from the inside so everything cooks evenly. They should last forever. Don't waste your money on these skinny skinny ones. Get these, you won't regret it.

I've had them for about a month and already one of the rivets holding the wood to the metal has come loose. These things fall apart quickly. Update - after writing the first review they offered to send a replacement kit. I'm upgrading the rating as they at least support their product. Good customer service. The new set is a little different. The skewers have rounded edges on the wood which is nice. They also changed the bag, which I don't really like. I think plain black bags look much…
