Great for making your own alcohol!

Lately I can't buy 70% or 91% isopropyl alcohol anywhere due to the pandemic. However, I can find pure USP isopropyl alcohol online and use it to dilute to the correct percentage with distilled water. Works perfectly. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with one of those plastic bumpers that go around your neck and keep it from breaking if it tips over. I have a lot of lab experience and am not in the habit of knocking over glassware (if I were such a clumsy teenager I would have put…

WARNING THIS IS WRONG despite good quality

I was delighted to receive these graduated cylinders at a great price and when they arrived they were of very good quality! After using them twice to make the connection, I found that they had not measured accurately after pouring the compound's contents into an 8 ounce bottle and falling short. I then went to my water dispenser and dispensed the maximum amount that is stated on each graduated cylinder and as you can see in the picture each cylinder ends up measuring more than the maximum…

NOT class A as described.

At the time of purchase (11th November 2014) this item was listed as a 'Class A Graduated Cylinder' in both the 'Product Specifications' and 'Product Description'. The item I received from seller "Lake Charles Manufacturing" is clearly a Grade B, which is NOT a slight inconsistency for laboratory glassware. One can only hope that it is actually made from borosilicate (pyrex) as advertised. Whether grade A or B, ASTM E1272 - 02 (2012) allows for a "minimum" 0.2 graduation on a 10mL cylinder with
