Failed after 90 days on Wall Switches

I was initially pleased with the performance but the timer broke within 90 days and is non-refundable under current Revain policy. I'm doubly disappointed because I've been using GraLab timers since high school in the 1970's. I wish there was an easier way to contact the seller on Revain.

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • May damage

This timer is connected to a centrifuge to control the process in a sewage treatment plant. The timer is used twice every day of the year within 24 hours. The timer is used by eight different operators during the week, so it was hardly handled with kid gloves. Our previous timer was the same model and lasted almost 30 years. It was logical to replace the vintage car with the same model that has served us so well.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Two of them broke after about 6 months each. DO NOT BUY

I have purchased two Gralab timers in the last two years. It broke after about 6 months. Bought another Gralab timer and it failed after about 7 months. I only bought the Gralab timer because we bought one 20 years ago and it has lasted 18 years in daily use 24/7 in our lab so of course I bought the Gralab again. Never again. This company is not the same as when we bought our first one. This product is terrible, useless, not worth ordering. I'm currently looking at other options and will now…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not the same GraLab timer before

GraLab has removed the switch that used to turn off the loud sound signal for the end of the countdown, although the price of the timer has increased. That's no small thing for me. I used to like a loud buzzer that signaled the end of my school basketball games (same GraLab model 300). But that was in high school. In my little darkroom, I don't like it when my eardrums burst. I contacted GraLab to ask how I can disable the buzzer (which wire needs to be cut or whatever). They said I could ship…
