🔧 Easy Installation with Grant 3163 Installation Kit: A Complete Solution for Hassle-free Setup Review

The price is too high. Must be, maybe $20. All I needed was the wire plunger part, but it's not sold separately so I'm stuck buying this kit.

Fits well. had to replace the turn signal switch and use the correct puller to remove the adapter. all 3 screws were pulled out of the tread with a puller when tightening. I had to tap and twist the spool to remove it

Bought to replace the same product that had the screw holes ripped open in my 1971 Chevy C10. The kit includes additional parts for all types of wheels. I have Grant Elite GT handlebars so most of the parts have not been used. Easy installation although you will need a steering wheel puller.

This adapter is for a specific vehicle and does not include instructions. But the instructions are very good. Be sure to read both sides of the guide. My truck is a 1971 Chevy, which is as simple as can be. This adapter worked great. Be sure to order an adapter that fits your car and see how to remove your old ol' wheel then read the instructions. This kit makes things easier after removing the old steering wheel.

My biggest problem with all Grant kits is the documentation. This is what I would call a medium sized automotive mechanical project. There are many things you can do wrong which can lead to anything from a faulty horn to pinched wires etc. Your documentation is not clear and you can be confused as to whether you are using an original part or the one supplied. If you look at previous reviews this is a constant complaint. In general I like their products.
