The Shark works so well you won't realize you need to change the filter after a vacuum. If it is not replaced or cleaned, the suction power will drop significantly. I change it every time and have a clean, washed filter ready to install. A very simple process.

Worth buying. This vacuum cleaner requires a filter and this needs to be cleaned in order for the vacuum cleaner to work properly. I bought this so I could take one, wash it, let it dry and replace it with this one while the other dries. I hand wash with Dawn. I would never put it in the washing machine. Without a filter, the vacuum cleaner will not remove dirt.

I was looking for replacement filters for my Rocket and couldn't find them locally. After the originals have been cleaned monthly for a year, it's time for new ones. Finally found it on Revain and at a good price compared to the manufacturer's website when shipping is included. Fit, great quality and delivered quickly. I'll be back.

This filter does not work. The foam was too big for the Shark Rocket filter system. The foam filter and top filter looked like they would fit in the filter box. However, the Shark missile failed to maintain suction power, leaving the vacuum unable to suck up virtually anything. I bought another filter from another company at Revain and had no problems. I have to say that this purchase was wasted because the product does not work as advertised. And yes, I have checked that the Shark Rocket I own
