Well made from good materials. This latest iteration is cylindrical rather than a truncated cone. Also, the outlet slides into the intake manifold instead of out. The appearance is very different, but it fits perfectly. .And works very well, even better than the original. I haven't had to wash it yet, but it shakes out better than the original pleated paper filter.

Fits great, works great and is much easier to clean than a standard filter. I can just toss it in the trash can, then dip it all in water and wipe the lint off instead of trying to clean the old filter with a surgical mask and the tip of a chopstick. And to top it all off, it's cheaper than a branded replacement, there are no minuses here. I really should have bought something like this many years ago.

Either change the model or it was defective but didn't fit. It just came off a little and bam, the lid wouldn't close. I purchased this product on February 4th, 2014 and have used it enough times to rate it as great. First let me say that this item is exactly the same as the filter that came with my vacuum cleaner.
