Sponges are nice and thick. They are super absorbent. One side is great for cleaning but won't scratch pans. The other side is softer and ideal for general cleaning. Excellent quality product.

These sponges are very well made, they don't give off a weird smell when opened and if the care instructions are followed they keep their original color and don't have a musty smell. In addition, your dishwashing detergent foams very well and the sponge is comfortable to hold because it is a medium-sized sponge.

I totally support the concept of cellulose sponges. They work well, last forever and are dishwasher safe for sterilization. They found a worthy application. They are very strong and have a washcloth on the back which is a little more durable than the cleaning surfaces that ALWAYS (with love) peel away from their cellulosic base. You are also doing something for the environment.

They are much better than regular blue sponges that always smell. They serve their purpose and are environmentally friendly. I use them in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, all over the house. Once every few days I like to give my counters a good clean just to get rid of any bacteria left by my daily cleaner and they get the job done! My countertops always look very clean after using them and I just apply a drop of dish soap and water. Highly recommend and way better than blue sponges.

I was going to compare them to Grove sponges until they came and saw the texture of the cleaning side. The pulp side has the same thickness and texture as the Grove. The coconut side is thinner, which sounds bad, but it's not. Grove uses the smoother, more flexible texture of coir, which works for me. I once had a sponge with the same texture as Grinzla, but it was twice as wide. Though thick and rough, it didn't clean any better than Grove's. Also, it was so rigid and inflexible that you…
