I use GP socket wrenches on my shock absorbers when I work in marine mechanics. I have never seen one of these sockets fail replacing one that a colleague lost at the lake!

The base is smaller than simple. It's cheaper than snappy and works just as well. The only reason I bought a new one was because I watched mine fall into the belly of a bulldozer and take hours to get back up. If I could go back to the book and rebuy my sockets I wouldn't buy snappy it would be gp all the way.

So I lost my 9/16 impact wrench and bought this one because it was the cheapest custom socket I could find and damn I love these sockets. They are thinner than my Tecton and Sunex strikes so they fit more places. It didn't show much wear, it's my most used hit. I will be buying the full GP kit soon.
