I only use the Survivor case for all my iPads. It protects my iPad very well. I usually remove the plastic screen protector and then install the tempered glass. *** Update after a month of use: still like the case. The stand is a major improvement over the previous design. You can use the stand in two ways. There is also space for an apple pencil. It's also not as clunky as the previous model. You will not regret your purchase.

I still prefer Survivor to most other cases for my devices and while in the past I have had complete confidence in its ability to protect them and have actually experienced that reliability, this new model shines in Admittedly mimicking the "looks" of other brands compared to the superior protection and physical durability of previous models. This is our second iPad so we chose the same branded case as the first as we were very happy with how it has held up over the years. The iPad was easy to install and the case appears to be well made. We put a screen protector on the iPad just for extra protection, and there was no sign of lifting or blistering when I placed it in the case. I hope this case lasts as long as the other. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Very good case but very poor screen/fingerprint reader protection and the stand is weak. I bought a case of the same brand and series for my iPad 5th generation. The stand was a lot stiffer and gave me a lot more confidence when closing the screen in camp. The screen protector dazzles terribly and scratches very easily, the membranes of the fingerprint reader are deformed and easily damaged. This is a lower quality product at a much higher price than previous offerings. I would avoid this case…

A few weeks ago I needed to upgrade my iPad because my old iPad was starting to act up and needed a good protective case for it. I bought a Griffin Survivor for my old iPad because I liked the reviews and wanted to get another Survivor for my new iPad. It was easy to wrap around the iPad and fits like a glove. I wish Revain would fix their algorithms to promote more real brands not cheap imitations that break. I have been using the Griffin brand to protect my iPads for over 7 years. I originally bought it for my first iPad from a major retailer. This case lasted three children and was only thrown away when the laptop died.
