Long Version: Men's belts are 2" - 3" longer than their waist; so if your pant size is 36", buy a 38" belt. But not with the Grip6. According to their rep, their belts are 8" long. 9" longer than regular men's belts. It's funny, however, that it's not a unified metric. I ordered 40" a few years ago (I had a 38" waist) they came in at 45" so I hardly wore them. I like style and I forgot how
