Nice plants, order more than you think you need

Pretty decent product. Had some browning from shipping bc all the moisture had dried up but it perked back up once I got it put in. I would just say however much you think you need, order at least 1 more.

Pros
  • The plant is a great way to create a breeding ground for fish
Cons
  • May require additional shading in bright aquariums

Very good!: my feedback

Excellent product! It was tightly packed in so I got a very good amount of moss for the price. I used sewing thread to tie small bunches into some spider wood. I also attached some to a homemade float of bio beads and burlap that keeps the duckweed from getting submerged and sucked into the filter.

Pros
  • The moss can be used to create caves and other hiding spots for fish
Cons
  • Can be a hiding spot for debris

It’s not snail free!

I bought this to go into a tank I just set up for dwarf shrimp. It arrived ok, was a nice amount of moss, & my shrimp are doing well with it. However. I bought from this vendor because it was supposedly snail free. Well, I have snails now, & some kind of flatworm came in with it, along with a critter that might be Daphnia (I’m not sure.). It’s a newly set up tank with all new stuff in it, so I know for sure these critters came with it

Pros
  • Greenpro Java Moss can be used to create a themed aquarium, such as a jungle or forest
Cons
  • Can attract unwanted insects

Immediate melting, no bounce back

On arrival and initial planting, the moss looked great. After the first night it started melting and has yet to bounce back unfortunatley.

Pros
  • Java Moss is easy to remove if you no longer want it in your aquarium
Cons
  • Can contribute to the spread of diseases

Highly recommend! on my review.

These plants arrived exactly as described and when promised, were packed well and very healthy looking. They are a great addition to my 90 gallon tank and look great! I attached the Java Moss to the artificial tree in the back corner of my tank and look forward to watching it grow and attach itself. Would highly recommend this seller!

Pros
  • The moss is perfect for fish that like to nibble on plants
Cons
  • Can block filters and cause reduced water flow

Better than expected

This is really nice. It had a few brown spots, but it was outside without me knowing for a very long-while in the heat. 96% of it is a beautiful green, lush and strong.Edit: I just got an alert to review the product and I thought I sent this review in days ago, but I never clicked submit from what it seems. My plant has been underwater for quite some time now and is doing just fine. And I swear its growing already, not one single bug or slug. I’ll most definitely do business with these guys…

Pros
  • The moss can be used as a substrate for other aquarium plants
Cons
  • Can be difficult to grow in certain areas

Comes in nice, green, and healthy

Iv bought this twice now and both times it came in healthy and hitchhiker free. Even without any fertilizers its stayed pretty healthy in my turtle and fish tanks.Iv heard some people get snails in their order and if i remember correctly someone said they are usually mystery snails which actually eat algae and other gunk in your tank so dont panic if you see them the worst they are doing is eating a bit of your moss. Dont want them just toss em outside or near a pond/lake and wash your moss if…

Pros
  • The plant is perfect for creating a natural-looking riverbed
Cons
  • May require additional water changes to maintain

These came packaged very well in a culture cup with a nice tight lid. The moss ball I got was looking a little on the brown side when I got it. I’ve incorporated it into a couple of nano setups, and it’s living, but doesn’t seem to thriving like the rest of the plants in the setups. It’s still a bit on the brown side, but does seem to be showing a little bit of green these days.

Pros
  • Java Moss is a low-maintenance alternative to traditional aquarium plants
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for heavily populated aquariums

Came very green! They pack a ton into the little aquarium which is nice. Honestly it was too much for what i wanted to use it for in my 5 gal. But I can't complain about having too much! It's doing well in my aquarium so far. I've had it for about 2 weeks now.

Pros
  • It can be used in combination with other aquarium plants to create a stunning aquascape
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for all fish species

Good Java Moss! on my review.

This java moss is great! It withstand-ed a bleach dip to get rid of the critters most come with and is in my fish tank after sitting in de-clorinated water for a night. For 20$, it is not much in the package though :(

Pros
  • It's perfect for freshwater shrimp tanks
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all water types

A decent amount of moss

I was surprised by the amount of moss that was able to fit in the container. I am happy with the amount that I received. The moss looks exactly the same as the picture. I will update my review after I see how the plant does in my tank.

Pros
  • Java Moss is low-maintenance, which is perfect for busy individuals
Cons
  • Can be difficult to attach to objects in the aquarium

Came as advertised.

Survived being left in my mailbox for 2 hours on a 90 degree New Hampshire day. Planted it 2 days later using driftwood strings, looks healthy on my Bonsai Driftwood tree.

Pros
  • Java Moss can be used to hide power filters or other aquarium equipment
Cons
  • Can become overgrown and out of control

I could have pulled moss off of a tree in my yard. I moved it a few inches and hundreds of chunks and pieces are floating around my aquarium. I had to fish out all the junk with a net and throw it out. Very disappointed . Update: while my experience with this product was not great, the company was very quick to make it right. I would be comfortable buying from this company again, I don't think this particular product is for me.

Pros
  • The plant can be used to create a natural-looking foreground for your aquarium
Cons
  • Can damage the leaves of the plant

Arrived alive! on my review.

The moss was in great condition when it arrived. I've ordered the same plant elsewhere and received a mass of dead brown sadness. Everything I've ordered from Greenpro has been vibrant green and alive, even though I ordered in winter.

Pros
  • Moss arrived but did seem to have about a third of it brown or dead.
Cons
  • Delivered late. When I opened it the plant was dry and brown. Hopefully I just have bad luck

Half dead and brittle

I've dealt with Greenpro before and had excellent results. This came in looking slightly brown and half dead. Being new to java moss I'm not sure how it'll recover. I rinsed it and added it to my aquarium and we will see if it recovers. If it goes to growing and recovers I'll give an update.

Pros
  • REAL JAVA MOSS : No substitution, many other companies try to substitute this moss with other species.
Cons
  • Might not be compatible with certain types of fish

Tons of beautiful green moss

This little container was Packed with moss. I really didn't know what to do with it all. I got it for my 15gallon Fluval Flex tank to glue onto some driftwood, and it was plenty. I actually second-guessed myself after putting the moss because I thought it was too much. But my Vik loves it.Yes, there were some brown bits. But once I got it rinsed off and into my tan it quickly livened up. The browning was probably from the stress of travel and lack of light &fresh water. There was also no sign of

Pros
  • It can be used to create a natural-looking transition between the substrate and the aquarium decorations
Cons
  • Can be difficult to work with

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Might come kinda discolored but bounces back fast

When I got my plant a lot of it looked yellow and dead for the first day. After a day in my tank it bounced back beautifully! Thank you!

Pros
  • HIGH TECHNOLOGY : Our plants grown by using the latest technology and facility with digital controlled nursery to ensure that our plants are diseases pest snail and algae free.
Cons
  • I wish it came rooted

Arrived Well Packaged

The java moss arrived in a nice little cup and was still wet when it arrived. It was packaged very nicely with thermal packaging.

Pros
  • Reptile friendly : Perfect for creating natural looking cage. Terrarium vivarium.
Cons
  • Requires specific water conditions to thrive

Great I live in Hawaii and when I got it .

Great I live in Hawaii and when I got it was all good green and still kickin so I'd buy it again from them bc it came alive I read other place it was dead brown so I was kinda iffy about it but wasn't that expensive so I gave it a shot and I'm happy

Pros
  • Product was nicely packed and was very vibrant. Will be ordering more plants from them.
Cons
  • I have had plants and knowing I should purchase such items in a store... It did disappoint.

This doesn’t have a resemblance to Java Moss

What I received didn’t look anything like Java Moss it looked more like dried tobacco. Not one part of what I received was green. I would also like to mention that there wasn’t a heat pack sent with the plant and the outside temperature was in the 30s.

Pros
  • Greenpro Java Moss is easy to grow
Cons
  • Needs to be trimmed regularly
