just what i needed the best of motorcycling and powersports

are easy to install, they use rubber expansion plugs instead of the more traditional aluminum wedge. On the road I don't see a problem with them, they aren't barkbusters or anything else that requires the same amount of power.

Pros
  • new to my collection
Cons
  • appearance

I have two pairs, one pair is great the other not so good

After using one pair (black) for three years they have held up great so I ordered a pair for another bike (red ). The 3 year old pair still look brand new, no damage or fading, the new pair has been damaged. They do their job, but they don't look new.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Useless features

You get what you pay for

They are inexpensive and easy to install. And if you're just looking for a decorative bar finish, they're fine. If you want to put a mirror on it, look elsewhere. The flared part inside the handlebar is plastic, not rubber, so it slides and can pop out with enough pressure. If you mount mirrors on it, get the handlebar ends with rubber mounts on the handlebars.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Blank

Decent bar tips fit the controls

I lost a bar end on my bike that supposedly helps with vibration. They're relatively inexpensive, easy to use, hold up really well, come in a variety of colors, but black looked good. I didn't notice any difference in vibration before or after, so that's all I can report on it. I think they are very decent for the money and are easy to replace on any bike if it fails and needs replacing on one side. Colors are vibrant too, if that's what you want. Black suits me.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Great price

Do you pay for what you get?

The screw on one side broke inside when I tightened it to bulge the rubber as it has to be turned really hard and can't be unscrewed. The other side was quite tricky to install properly as I didn't want to engage another screw/bolt -> for it to be loose. I attached the blue bracket to hold it in the crossbar; but I'm not looking forward to changing grips as I'll have to take them apart and probably get new bar tips. Also, I thought it would weigh a bit more, not sure if that would help…

Pros
  • Full Set
Cons
  • Sad Hardware

Exactly as you would expect.

I ordered these to replace some of the crappy bar tips that came built into my bike's cheap handlebars. The bar ends look nice - not flashy, just plain - match my bars perfectly and even came with a 5mm allen key. During installation, I noticed that the throttle tube and controls are further from center on the right than on the left. At first I thought something was wrong because the right end of the handlebars didn't fit, but I quickly realized it was because the throttle tube was mounted too…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Repair
