My son says they are comfortable. The fabric is linen-like, with a drawstring waistband. Not sure how they're going to wash that last one with a teenager

The shorts are amazing as is the design but the structured lasts will be a bit softer and the shorts, at least in white, will show through a bit so keep that in mind before you buy that color.

These shorts are very good but they are really big. I bought a large one for my 14 year old son but it was too big and I had to return it. If your child is thinner, I would go down a size.

They're nice and light for summer, but the right pocket opening is smaller. My hand is very firm. The legs are too long in my opinion, below the knees. In fact, these are short "Bermuda shorts". The size is great for its size. 14 sits well on my 29 waist. Your size chart lists XL. There is also no good size equivalent for reference. They are ok but not high quality.

My boys love these pants! Structured (so I let them wear them to places where gym wear and sweatpants are out of place, like church) but comfortable with an elasticated waistband and drawstrings. I wish there were more of these on the market in my budget!

I would order smaller. Bought these for my son for a wedding and he was pulling his pants up the whole time lol. The lace doesn't bind them either. Otherwise they were lovely!

These shorts are great but the sizing is confusing. First time I bought a size 12 in blue sky and they were size M as stated on the shorts themselves. Next time I took the khakis one size up (14) and they were marked XL! I also have a pair of blue skies in size 14, they are smaller and marked L (which is what I need now). So 14 is both L and XL depending on the color? Other than that I really like the shorts and the quality, just wish the sizing was accurate and clear.

My son likes zip shorts because he rides his bike and his phone will fall off if it doesn't have a zip. Now he loves these shorts because his phone stays in his pocket when he does his stunts.

Boys size 14 fits my 37 year old husband who wears a size 32. I feel sorry for them because, despite reviews to the contrary, they are too big for my son. Lesson learned.

I bought 1 dark blue and 1 light blue, both are great, but then light green came along and ruined everything. it's too baggy, the style of the model is totally different, i came back thinking it's some kind of mistake, but no, the new one i received was exactly the same, so i think it's a " green problem". My son wears a US size 10/12 (usually big for boys here) and he is 11 years old. So I got a size 10. They were HUGE. I'm disappointed because there wasn't a smaller size available back then and they were REALLY good!

These are great shorts for a child, the color is light and the fabric appears to be of good quality. I would order them again. The only downside is that the plastic eyelets for the strap pull come loose easily. But the pants are great.

My son loved them! Unfortunately I ordered too many and the blue one sold out on my reorder so I had to go for the white one. Definitely they are good quality and my son loves them. I will definitely be buying more colors when they become available.

I bought 8 shorts in total, 4 XXL and 4 XL...NONE of them were the same size, some XL were larger than XXL. Some XXL models were too small for my 10 year old (4'4" and 82lbs)...none of them fit my 12 year old (5'3" and 110lbs).
