Didn't Live Up to Expectations

I purchased these springs for my automotive project hoping for improved performance. However, as my tests showed, they did not deliver the desired results... The pros of these springs are that they are heavy duty and suitable for commercial vehicles. However, the cons are that they did not provide the expected performance enhancement. Overall, i was disappointed with the H R 51602 Sport Spring..

Stronger but higher in heavy duty and commercial vehicle equipment

Installed today. Very hard ride, slightly harder than stock. This gave me about 1 inch of lift on my 2008 Ford Escape 4wd as advertised. Don't be alarmed if you find that these springs are actually slightly shorter than the standard springs. I was! They explained that preloading and compressing the spring gives it an extra inch of lift. With a wife and two kids and all the gear we have with us, the stiffer springs work great and keep the descent high enough to power through the off-road -Desert
