I like that it's easy to use and throw away. I'm pretty sure I have random mouth DNA anywhere in the world because you can use it literally anywhere. A drop of water and you're good to go.

They're great when you work all day or when you need to go to a meeting with someone quickly and clean up quickly. Xylitol is good for teeth and gums in moderation. If you use them, I think you just need to find a place to spit. It's okay if you can't, though, you'll still get a decent clean.
