🔥 HAI Classic Convertible Pro Flat Iron Review

I did a lot of research before buying. This is one of the few irons with an auto shut off feature. It is also a very well made iron, good materials, good grip, light weight, very long cord. Simply a very well made product. I lighten blonde hair and use it at the lowest temperature, 250 degrees. I want my hair to be exposed to as little heat as possible and it gets there. That's even less heat than the new Dyson, which only goes up to 330. I'll stick with this great tool!

Item worked well but broke in less than a year which is to be expected from a low quality $20 flat iron. Which my girlfriend had before and lasted over 6 years until she gave it to her little sister and bought a more expensive product. A $20 flat iron will still work today [up to 10 years]. I'll change the estimate if the company lives up to the three-year warranty. But right now, I expect more from a straightener that costs more than four times the price of a fake that lasted 10 years. This iron has never worked well. It doesn't always get hot. I threw it away a few months after finding out HAI does not offer a guarantee on items purchased from Revain.

I have had a Hai straightening iron for many years. It still worked fine but I bought this for my daughter and it looked so sleek and beautiful new that I decided I needed a new one. When it arrived I was a bit worried because it didn't look like my old one, but it quickly warmed up like my old one and felt like satin on my hair when I used it. I only had to go through my hair once with this new one, not 2-3 times like with my old one. I love it and wish I hadn't waited so long for it!

I don't normally write reviews but this product makes me have to. I've been a stylist for 40 years and I LOVE the first shark iron I bought. I thought I would buy the same one but this one is a waste of money. The first problem I encountered is that it shuts itself down. The best iron I've ever had! Have my adult daughter use my 5 year old Hi and she loved it so much I ended up buying her one. Perfectly smoothes our frizzy, insanely curly hair. I was spoiled with my Hai and forgot what straightening issues I had before I bought it 5 years ago. If I went to bed with wet hair I used to have to re-moisturize and blow dry my hair before using my old straightener, now I don't have to worry because this straightener works great even on my crazy frizzy mornings. I tried them all, from Chi, Babalisse, Hot Tools, Redkin until I got my first one in 1999. It was the first time I could get my hair completely smooth, straight and silky, no other straightener I've done before and it lasted 9 years. I've been in the hairdressing business for 38 years and my clients love it as I have one at work and one at home. THE BEST iron on the market today!

I bought a HAI iron many years ago and I love it! I hate this. Really a waste of my money. As a professional stylist, I don't mind buying things that help me work smarter, not harder. This iron absolutely DOES NOT CONNECT the hair. I hate that I wasted my money.

This iron is MUCH better than my previous one and makes styling easy and quick. It heats up to 400 very quickly and makes my hair shiny and smooth. But the adjustable thermostat allows you to choose the heating settings. I like that the irons are much wider than my previous one. I'm glad I decided to upgrade. Very different from the old first generation straighteners.
