Type: Ties in hair:: The strands are 2-3 times wider than an average human hair and designed to add a subtle sparkle effect. This set includes 2 styles" "Sparkling" and "Shiny". Flat iron: Medium to High setting (230-290F, 12 seconds). Dry heat 356F, 50 seconds. Type: Ties in hair one strand at a time:: "no brainer" add on!. If you can tie a knot, you can install this hair tinsel! With care, tinsel hair can last several weeks, even through washing, drying, and flat ironing. For long lasting effect use 3 - 5 strands of hair when attaching tinsel and do 2 or 3 knots with the hair and the hair tinsel. It might be easier if the hair is damp. Adding a little bit of dry shampoo to the root can add a texture to hair and prevent tinsel sliding down.

Suggestion: MAKE A ROUND PIECE OF HEAVY PAPER, CUT THE LINE IN THE CENTER SO THEY CAN PULL INTO A STRONG STRIP AND

SO CUTE AND MY HUSBAND CAN KNIT THEM LIKE I SAID. THICK PAPER CUT THE PAPER IN THE MIDDLE ONLY THEN PULL THE PAPER UP AND PULL IN A STREAM OR TWO HAIRS. TITH THE MISHA KNOT AROUND THE HAIR, JUST CUT THE MISHA TO THE LENGTH OF YOUR HAIR, YOU NOW HAVE TWO STRANDS. DO NOT TRY THIS IN A THAT, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

Quick and easy to apply. I used to dye 1 small strip in my hair but it was expensive and time consuming. It's way better and I love the glitter.

LOVE THESE Hair Extensions

I thought the tinsel was shimmery/holographic but it's only a shimmery metallic but it still has the shimmery effect I was looking for when it's on your hair. I have it in my hair all the time, I love it so much. I've received quite a few compliments and people have asked me how I got shiny highlights in my hair. So far I've washed and dried my hair once since I put it on and only one came out. Overall very happy with my purchase.

It looked cute in my hair, but it was hard.

It looked cute on my hair but was difficult to tie. I actually asked my beautician friend and another friend to put it on my hair. Even with two people helping, it was difficult for her to adjust. After that they stayed at home for about 3 weeks. You just have to be careful when washing and combing your hair.

How to Contact Yourself

So I bought this without the help of anyone to attach it to me and found that it takes some practice to attach the tinsel yourself. The easiest way is alone. Superglue, smoothed out all the flying hair! Insert the end of the tinsel into the tip of the superglue until it's heavy enough to see. then place as close to the scalp as possible on a flat, non-flying part, then leave alone. (ie don't try to make sure they're glued in by touching the end, it will just result in your finger sticking to…

Not God. slips out of hair too easily a few days (and I use it properly on my hair). I wish I could find some decent "fairy hair" on Amazon

Stands out against your hair

Someone had this shiny strand of hair in Italy. I had to stop her and ask what it was. This is hair tinsel, available in all colors, your stylist attaches it with a clip and it stays on until the stylist removes the clip. I only had 4 strands. Can be dried with hair dryer and iron.

I don't want to, but again, but not a bad product

tinsel looks like a thin sheet of plastic. It stretches but doesn't spring back. It doesn't hold heat well, meaning it won't frizz with a curling iron, curlers, or flat iron. They're pretty thin but flat. I was expecting them to look like a strand of hair, but they aren't. This is a strip. For the price not bad for a kids party.
