I received it yesterday and keep using it to practice braiding. It is ideal for practicing braiding and using overlays. An added bonus is that my 6 year old can play with the training head and practice styling.

I like my new mannequin The head is a little smaller than I expected Not the typical size of a human head but I've gotten used to it The hair feels very silky so think I that it will take some time to learn how to do neat braids. But overall I'm happy with them. I'm going for a more twisted one next time as it's better for braids and such. I don't know if this hair is real but it feels close enough. I say buy.

I bought this doll head to use for my cosmetology school graduation project and boy am I impressed! I was a little skeptical about the description that said it was 100% human hair at such a low price, but all my doubts disappeared when I checked it for strands. I was able to get it to level 8 (light blonde) in one go with minimal breakage. I will definitely buy again!

I bought this mannequin for braiding and all styling in general as I have a 6 year old daughter with a bunch of curly hair. I am happy to say that I am satisfied with the purchase. It's definitely not 18-20 in the hair, maybe around 14 inches. He washed himself well, dried with a hair dryer and even ironed. I haven't seen a molt yet. It is very good. I bought this product to practice braiding and styling my hair. The length of the hair should be 18 to 20 inches long but it is 14 inches on the longest strands. The hair is very thin. What is sent as a submission is not what I received.

When I received it the first thing I did was shampoo and then condition it. Shed obviously, but not as much as I thought. After that I dry it a little with a towel and then with a hair dryer. As long as it holds up well. Highly recommended. The hair is soft to the touch, there are a lot of hair.
