liked the design in general but the clips holding the viewing window are razor sharp which resulted in a deep cut on the finger on the first wash. Returned for the first time and exchanged for the same grill hoping it was a quality control issue. This wasn't the case as the replacement grille had the same problem, razor sharp clips. I contacted Hamilton Beach and explained the issue and unfortunately they didn't seem concerned at all. They offered a replacement, but delivery is at my expense. I

First of all I have nothing bad to say about this handy grill. I also got grilled chicken skewers (with peppers) today. I marinated them for about two hours using the old recipe that follows the picture. I live at 6500ft so prep takes longer here. Nicely fried, four minutes per side. then five on the other side. I actually bought the same grill from Target for $59 (discounted) but wanted to leave a review here. . I've used it several times and it sits on my counter next to the stove. I leave the top stove fan on low (which I don't even think I need) and with the lid closed there is no smoke-filled air.
