Bad design relies on a button failing

The design requires you to press a button to lower the temperature from boiling to other options. This button stopped working after several uses so now this kettle only boils water and there is no way to select a colder temperature for tea.

Wide top opening works best for coffee, tea and espresso

This is a really good kettle. It's a little confusing how it starts to heat up, but once it's out of the way, it quickly heats the water. They have modes you can set and even a keep warm function. It's stylish. Best of all I can reach into the lid to pull out the tea bags.

Looks like the most reliable

My wife wanted a temperature controlled kettle. Many models had bad reviews for premature failure, leaks, broken caps, broken filters. Hamilton Beach's temperature-controlled 1.7-liter kettle looked the least risky. I bought an extended warranty just in case. After a few weeks it's working great and she loves it.

Nice but very hot!

I love this kettle. It works great and looks attractive on my counter. The upper part can be completely opened (but not removed) for filling and cleaning. The window and blue light make it easy to see how much water is in the kettle and that it's heating up. However, I would like to warn you that the sides are VERY hot so be careful not to leave it where children can touch it when in use.

Nice. but keep out of the reach of children, it gets very hot outside! 🥵

Very good product, very nice. It heats the water in seconds, make sure you don't overfill as it will spill and make a mess, oh and the outside of the kettle is very hot so be very careful when handling, and make sure too that nothing touching the outside could melt I left my bread next to the kettle and it melted the bag but other than that it works really well just clean it with vinegar and baking soda to keep it usable

Comfortable and beautiful!

Beautiful rose gold/copper colour, heats up very quickly! I didn't think I would use temperature options other than just boiling, but I really like experimenting with different temperatures depending on whether or not I want to add something cold to the drink and how quickly I need to do it. can drink it. I also don't like putting anything too hot in my reusable stainless steel cups because it then literally takes a few hours to drink, so the temperature option actually comes in really handy…
