Big enough but irritated my hamster's butt

Big enough for the Syrians but fragile to take apart and put back together and the protrusions inside scratched my hamster's butt making it red and irritated. Not sure if this is very safe or hummy safe.

Stay away from this offer

Had to throw it away, didn't last 60 days. The hamster is changed once a week, that's the result, Kaytee tubes are expensive in my experience but I've never had this problem. I had to dispose of them a few days ago. The connecting parts are also a bit larger, difficult to connect with other tubes, they are flimsy, I do not recommend them.

That does not work!

Will not fit Habitat Kautee One-Story Cage. I tried to plug it in and it kept falling off. So I put tape on it to keep it from falling off. Our cat grabbed the tube, took it out of the cage and killed our hamster. Almost broke a few times during assembly. Don't buy this if you have a Kaytee brand cage, you'll probably want to use branded whistles.
