Junk (but good customer service)

EDIT: Although the product itself was worse, the seller offered a full refund. I appreciated the customer service despite the shortcomings of the product itself. The seller also promised to solve the problem with product engineers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Scrap metal. When first used, the 1/2x1/4 bit shank was cut in half right next to the router collet.

Pros
  • Commonly used on electric trimmers or wood engraving machines
Cons
  • Large and bulky

It may or may not be exactly what you want!

Maybe it's not the product but I expected them to fit standard screw head sizes. They don't. A half inch fits a 5/16 inch stud, which is an odd size for most jigs. I wish he had made 7/16" slots for 1/4" screws and 9/16" slots for 3/8" screws. Otherwise they are of good quality as you would expect, they will work quite well for a long time.

Pros
  • alloy blade with high quality welding, stable quality, high efficiency. long life
Cons
  • Not bad but...

both broke on first use

maybe I did something wrong. I have hundreds of hours of router usage and have never broken a router. I use Bosch 1617EVS. Both bits broke off the first time they were used correctly. In both cases I milled a fairly soft old pine. Both parts were broken, leaving only a stick with a pointed end. I've never seen this before. I did a few tests walking along the edge of a piece of wood and everything was fine. But I pre-drilled a larger hole and wanted to create a trapped groove.

Pros
  • two different size cutters for different slots
Cons
  • no instructions
