Bought for my husband as a birthday present. He liked the look and the skin. The bag is large and very durable. He can store 3 textbooks and his computer inside. This is a professional looking replacement for his old torn book bag. It also offers plenty of pockets for organization. All in all very well done.

The smell is neutral, so these problems seem to be solved. But even if they hadn't quickly applied a perfumed leather conditioner, that would have fixed everything. This is aged leather and I can imagine that some of the stitching will likely come undone in the future, but it will be worth paying the tanner to make any repairs needed over time.
