Great Addition to My Tatting Tools

After I put it to the test, the Handy Hands Tatting Shuttle Bobbins in purple proved to be both sturdy and easy to use. The smooth, sleek design helped my thread glide seamlessly through my tatting project. The purple color also adds a fun pop of color to my collection. However, I wish they came in a larger pack so I could stock up on them more easily.

Pros
  • Perfect size and weight for tatting projects.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Very nice tatting hooks

I really like these tatting hooks. They make a clicking sound when used. I think it's great that you can change and thread the bobbins. I also liked the built-in hook, which is very handy when weaving. Good solid shuttle.

Pros
  • handmade
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

My favorite of the two Shuttle brands I own

I prefer tatting because I've covered the basics (DS, Pico and Rings) using videos I found online in could learn in a few minutes. The shuttles are more frustrating for me, but I'll try again as some templates/tutorials seem easier with shuttles. I have two of these and two shamrocks. There are two main differences - with them you wind the thread on the spool. Each hook comes with two spools and you can buy more. If you jump from project to project like I do, this way of winding filament is…

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • I'll add later
