The product has stopped working or cannot be used. ***Original Review*** Ever find yourself tilting your screen in low light so you can see the keyboard? Not with that anymore. Plug it into a USB port and choose from two different light levels.

Need a compact, dimmable keyboard backlight (yes, I need to see the keys to type). I wanted something big and adjustable enough that the light would hit the keys, but not in my eyes. The flexible metal tube works very well - I use it when I print this. So far the downlight setup has been more than adequate. Would recommend this to others.

It's expensive for a basic device but it hasn't broken yet and I don't think it will and I haven't compared it to others. But the benefit is really incredible, when you need to keep the light low it's absolutely perfect because you can bend and twist it. It's not too bright, which is good at night, people won't know anyone is using the computer. You can't expect this little device to be an airport halogen, it's ridiculous. I bought this light to use on my laptop keyboard when typing in a coffee shop. I don't have a backlit keyboard and need to see the keys. I don't think that works very well. The light only covers part of my keyboard and creates a bright reflection on my computer screen, making it difficult for me to see what I'm working on. Pros - It lights up my keyboard really well! Cons - It scares my jack russell terrier which causes him to attack the light, crack my laptop, set it on fire and knock him off my lap which then destroys my laptop's screen. So if you want to light up your keyboard, get this backlight, it works really well! If you have a hyperactive dog with discipline issues, you may need to find another solution.
