The size chart says a size 8-10 but the tag on the pants says a size 7-8. They are too small for my granddaughter who is a size 10. It's funny how most of the comments say they are big. NO. I will come back and try something different. The shorts actually looked good and I am very disappointed.

I'm 5ft 5in, 100lbs and these are my all time favorite gym shorts. They're really cute and relaxing, so comfy and I personally love the really minimal, simple look.

They don't stretch and don't quite fit. Just plain black cotton shorts were looking for something more than cycling shorts or something to wear under dresses. These don't work for this.

Teenage daughter's favorite dress is a bit expensive (Rene Rofe) so I tried it as underwear. She even wears shorts underneath (?) with a dress or skirt. She doesn't take them as often as her girls Rene Roth, but she doesn't complain too much about it either.

I don't write reviews unless I have something to add. These shorts are oversized. I bought 7/8 for my daughter and they are too big. Maybe they would suit her older sister. I'm sure they will shrink in the wash but not enough to fit. When ordering I would order 2 sizes smaller.

Runs a bit small and definitely too short for my daughter to wear in public. I don't recommend it unless it involves dancing or gymnastics.

This is made for a kid with a bigger waist or butt. If your child is of average build or petite, consider going down a size as it was too big for us.

I bought size XL for my 12 year old daughter to wear under skirts. It's somewhere between 10/12 and 16/16, and life is growing like weeds, so I figured they could be a bit more spacious. They are huge and fit me - adult size M/L. They also have a very thick waistband that doesn't fit comfortably under skirts.

Good quality but I listened to other comments on the reviews. They are NOT undersized. True to size. My little girl wears a size 14 and the big one is clearly a 10-12 and I thought it might fit like a 14 thanks to other reviews which clearly don't match the size her kids wear.

I was really hoping they would work but the size chart is way off. According to the table in the listing, the average size is 8-10, although they are actually more suitable for a size 6-7. Order one size larger. Will return.
