I ordered dark green, youth size is large, although youth size medium is still suitable for him, but this one is much slimmer, tighter. He feels restricted in hugs. We sent it back. I'm a petite woman (5ft 0in and 105lbs) and I ordered XL. It's totally oversized and comfortable and definitely worth the price!

My 10 year old wears this blue sweatshirt so much we bought two. He loves the color, the comfort and the fit. We also bought one in gray and the label looks slightly different. Gray has a slightly different fabric and is not as soft.

I ordered it to make a top. I wear women small so I ordered XXL and it fits great, cut it open and you can't even tell. I actually ordered it in white

It's a great price, it's cozy and great for my kids. BUT it gets dirty very easily. I would advise buying in dark colors. We live on a small farm in the Montana Rockies, my kids help with all the animals and play outside all day. These sweaters were great from the start, but they got dirty too easily. I bought a light blue, a gray and a dark blue; after a few weeks i had to throw away the blue and gray. So buy dark colors and you will be happy!

I usually wear a size small but the big boys are a youth Xlarge and the sleeves are quite long, everything else is pretty good (I'm sure I could go for a large)

These are good shirts but they are a little small for their size. In addition, the neckline and cuffs are narrower than usual. It's not too bad for my smaller child but comfortable for my older child who has not so small bones. Inside there is a nice thin fleece lining for extra warmth. It's grown a little, but not much.

Ok Hanes is a good brand in general. XL and looks big, a little smaller than XL but that's ok because it's for school. The material was a little thinner, but again, don't expect an overpriced sweater for $6.
