Well, first of all, this towel hook isn't 1 inch in diameter like you might think. Yes, there is a drawing with dimensions, but the dimensions are in metric units, so you'll need to convert them to inches to understand this. The diameter is about 11/16 inches, which is not very wide. Due to the narrow diameter, the hook wobbles a bit during assembly. Not much, but I expect it will get worse over time. So far so good, but I'm looking for a replacement.

We have four of these hangers for our guest bathroom. The design is simple and elegant. The product is inexpensive compared to other bathroom accessories sold in bathroom showrooms. Very durable construction and finish. Please note two things: 1- This one attaches with one screw, unlike many other hooks that attach with two, so better install it directly into the tree (bolt or secure rosette) otherwise it's probably too early or get out the wall too late. .2-It only has a small towel/robe edge to catch on so it's best to have a loop to secure it by simply placing it on the edge of the towel, it won't slip off . For this reason we have decided not to use it.
