I used to use a French press but read that the oil in coffee beans raises cholesterol so I switched to a paper filter system. I use it to oil my Bodum coffee machine and I don't see any traces of oil in my coffee. It keeps my metal strainer very clean as no oil goes through and clogs it.

Bought these filters after a bad experience with Chemex filters. Chemex was $27 for 100 filters and they were the wrong type (cone) even though the Amazon description says they are. These filters are thick and unbleached with no deposits at the bottom of the carafe and reduce the amount of oil. Very noticeable between using the normal paper filter and the Hario, the normal filter left a bitter aftertaste and residue! 300 filters for a great price

Ordered 3 packs of filler with 100 filters each. I never want to end, so I re-order a filter before it actually ends. I did this morning and when I opened the three packages I ordered, to my dismay, one package was already open. The number of filters in this pack looked smaller than the unopened pack so I counted them. Yes, there were only 78 filters. What the hell. I will never buy from this seller again. I will contact Revan.
