They fit the bike well and look great. They really helped add more gear to the bike. But after 750 miles there are a lot of frayed threads on the edges. I still recommend them for the Sportster as they are value for money.

Take a piece of wire, tie a knot, thread it through the eyelet on the strap, then thread the wire around the frame, then pull the strap with the wire over the frame.

But it will do the job intended for my '91 softtail, although it's a bag on the right side, it works well on the left side of a softtail without any modification, attaches very solidly and securely with a pair of zips and if you do what i did and ordered the mustang rivets (also available from revain) just for the valve and chrome sink is really FAVORITE!
