Description of Harlow Blend Chicken Model Number

FREE RANGE CHICKEN - Raised to the highest standards, from regulated and certified chicken farmers. BROWN RICE- Is rice that still has its fibrous and nutritious shell. This shell can provide a number of vitamins and minerals that can improve a dog’s health. DEHYDRATED FRUITS & VEGITABLES - Minimally processing and high bioavailability of nutrients. DOES HAVE YUCCA - For Healthy stools - Stimulates the breakdown of ammonia to reduce stool & urine odor. DOES NOT HAVE CORN - WHEAT - GLUTEN – SOY - These plant-based ingredients are inherently more difficult for your dog’s body to digest and derive nutrition from. These ingredients are common food allergens for dogs and can cause recurrent ear infections, skin problems, and digestive upset. DOES NOT HAVE PEAS - LENTILS - CHICK PEAS - It is thought that these ingredients could prevent your pets body from processing a vital amino acid called taurine. Taurine is essential for the healthy functioning of his cardiac system, and without it, his body cannot function as it should. Many owners choose pea-free food for this reason, to be on the safe side. DOES NOT HAVE - Artificial flavor or added color. Harlow Blend formulas use REAL MEAT, NATURAL INGREDIENTS, AND ENHANCED VITAMINS & MINERALS. ORIGINATING FROM CANADA, THE UNITED STATES, AND NEW ZEALAND. INGREDIENTS - Chicken meal, whole brown rice, hull less barley, whole oats, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols a form of vitamin E), dehydrated chicken flavor (liver), dehydrated whole eggs EU, Salmon oil EU, Flax seed, nutritional yeast, dried kelp, rosemary extract, dehydrated vegetables & fruit: carrots, pumpkin, cranberries, spinach, broccoli, green apple, blueberries, pears, bananas, rosemary extract, turmeric, dandelion, paprika. Low Fat: Cats

I usually order lamb, my dogs love it. No problem with this feed (so far). The low fat and protein content is well suited to the special needs of my little ones.

I'm so happy to get this back in the US!

Recommended by my dog's breeder thirteen years ago, this dog food has been hard to come by for the last year. Our dog loves it so we imported it from Canada. We are glad that we can buy it here again.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Approved for dogs: Cats

This is super healthy dog food (don't forget to read the label carefully). It offers free-range chicken and freeze-dried fruit and vegetables. The dog seemed to think the food was okay. She wasn't as excited about it as she was about wet dog food, but it was all smooth.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Dog feels good

I have a foster dog that was put on a cheap lamb food which I switched to this. He's handling it very well and has fixed some of the issues he was having. Wheat and soy-free lamb foods can be beneficial for dogs with allergies and contain enough whole grains to provide the dog with the fiber they need. A quality feed that has helped with several issues including likely corn sensitivity and some digestive issues.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
