The swimsuit is exactly the same as described and shown in the picture. It is well made and appears to be of good quality. But I don't think the size is right. I bought a swimsuit for a 10 year old boy (size 10) so although it fits him this swimsuit is almost identical to the Carter's size 6 swimsuit so I was expecting it to be a bit larger.

A good product. My son loves this. I saw it's small so the size is true for my son's age (he's very small and I'm usually a size smaller). It worked great.

The drawstring on the shorts doesn't work it's just for show so the shorts can't be pulled tight on my skinny but tall 8 year old so useless! I don't understand why they do it.

I'm paraplegic and needed a bathing suit to swim or paddle as best I could when I went on vacation in August. I'm only 5ft tall and usually wear 12 year old boys clothes so I'm 12-13 in this one. The shorts fit perfectly. The top was a bit tight as I know rash guards are supposed to be but the sleeves were quite tight around the arms, I could probably go a size up but this size is in shorts. Anyway, I was happy with it. The kit dries very quickly and washes well, no color issues or anything…

My boy loves this swimsuit. The color is nice as can be seen in the photos, the size is a bit small but I have already ordered a large size. My son is 11 years old, I ordered 13 years old, so there is no problem with the size.

My little one is allergic to the pool noodles they use in swim class, doesn't know what's on it, but I bought it to keep it from touching his skin, worked great, no more rashes! And it looks great, it fits perfectly!

The item description says it has a "tie closure" which I suspect, but the drawstring is sewn into the front of the shorts so it doesn't really do anything. As a result, there is no drawstring per se, so if your child gets out of the pool too quickly, they will leave their swim trunks behind. So now I have to try to get the cord through the belt so it doesn't fall off.
