I tried this a few weeks after using a few drops that didn't work and the cats still had a serious flea problem even after numerous baths. The box says it lasts a few days and can work for 7 months. I left the collar on for a month to try it out and the fleas were still jumping around the collar.

My roommate is a veterinary assistant and he checked the box after we put it on to see what ingredients were used as he knew which ones were starting to be ineffective. It turns out this particular brand uses something that isn't safe for humans and in turn probably isn't the best for kittens/puppies. Luckily we didn't activate the collar properly and there was no damage, but don't make the same mistake I almost made.

These match well with cheap flea collars. If you can't afford an expensive brand, they will still work just fine. I've had no problems using them on my cats, I've had them on my cats for a few months. None of my cats had any irritation or redness, but it really depends on your pet's skin sensitivity. So keep an eye on them and their skin when using this remedy if your cat is sensitive. Place the cut end in a vacuum bag for extra flea protection.

Despite reading some unflattering comments I ordered them for my two cats. A young calico and a 13 year old tabby. Within a week both were mostly free of fleas and a week later they were gone. It took 5 months out of 7 to get rid of the fleas completely but it worked without having to bomb the house. again. or pay to be watered for fleas over and over again. This rubbish can quickly increase in price! I suggest you buy this collar and rub coconut oil on your pets once a month.
