Hasbro Trivial Pursuit Game Rings Review

Item was in excellent condition. I bought it for a Christmas present. I'm not a big fan of Trivial Pursuit, and it's definitely full of tricky questions (so a must-read if you're a big Lord of the Rings fan, but I failed miserably when we played it). Nice game, great gift idea.

This is a present for my sister (a big fan of VK) and she literally screamed when she opened it. This game is fast and was in excellent condition! We had a lot of fun playing it, and while it's based on the movies, knowing the books helps answer some tough questions. There are a few "games" that follow the DVD camaraderie route, and they're fun.

We are VK fans and we usually find most movie and book questions too easy in other apps and games. This game has the right level of difficulty to challenge and encourage us to learn more about the characters, objects and events of the films. Great wholesome entertainment for the whole family, especially Tolkien and Peter Jackson fans. And Gollum's teasing voice in the final contest question is a fantastic touch!

I love this game. We were surprised to discover everything we didn't know, but our 12-year-old daughter, who had only seen the films once or twice, was able to play along too. We do NOT like Brown's "making movies" questions, so we usually either give REALLY big clues or choose from a different category. These questions seem completely impossible in most cases. My husband knows quite a lot about movies and can't answer most of them. We still love this game, but would like to replace this…

I have Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and love it. So when I discovered the Lord of the Rings DVD at Revain, I immediately jumped at the opportunity to buy it. I like that the Special Edition DVDs are included with the game, increasing the difficulty without making the answers impossible. You have four character parts to choose from: Gandalf, Frodo, Aragorn and Galadriel. Map questions can relate to how the film was made, the lines the character said at certain points, and more.
