The hood didn't fit over my 3 year old grandson's head until I unbuttoned the coat and pulled it over his head. Even then, it only covered half of his head. The coat has been returned

I bought this in a size 10 for my petite, medium height 8 year old wife. It's easy to put on, comfortable and held up well during our recent downpour! I love that the length means more of his clothes are protected and he can easily wear them for a year or two!

It's beautiful. Despite the size, if we roll up our sleeves a little, it works. As some of the other reviews say the hood is less than proportional to the rest of the jacket but still worked well to keep my son dry during a recent rain.

Fantastic quality. We had another one from this brand in a smaller size that had already been through two other very active kids so we bought it when the other one got too small. I'm sure we can do it too!

Waterproof if needed and I love the lining! Goes perfectly with his Hatley boots. I live in Hatley and love being able to represent the company and my hometown at the same time. This company will forever be part of our Easter bunny baskets. Love love love quality.

Before I bought this cape I should have read other reviews about how ridiculously small the hood of this cape is making it totally useless as a raincoat. My 2.5 year old is tall for her age with a medium head so I bought her a 3T. The body is huge, but the hood barely covers the head. The material is very nice and it's hard to find a truly waterproof raincoat with a good lining, but why put such a small hood on a great coat?!

I like the torso of this coat but the hood is TOO FUNNY SMALL. To put it on my kid's head I have to put the hood on first and then zip it up and it's very tight around the shoulders and pulls off the shoulders. Should have listened to other reviews but had to see for yourself. The raincoat is beautiful in color and quality of material, but this design flaw is just ridiculous. We love Hadley waterproof jackets! Snuggly on the inside means you don't have to have a lot of underlayers. The waterproof exterior means you can play outside in the rain for hours! My daughter has the same jacket but for some reason the girls jackets are with buttons and the boys jackets are with zippers. Boys don't like zips, we wish all jackets had buttons or a combination of zips and buttons. It takes a lot of work to close and close all the time, clasps are much quicker and easier for…

I've said it before - my children have lived in Hatley since they could walk. I won't buy you another raincoat. Hatley is quality worth every penny. You won't find cheap plastic here. Nothing that feels uncomfortable, sticky or grows back quickly. My son wore his 3T Hatley raincoat for 2 years even when he was in 4T and several months in 5T without being too tight or too short. I ordered this in a size 5 and it has the extra sleeve length and width that they will last for so long. I like that…
