Let me sew like I'm Zoro!

Sharp, pointed blade that sweeps across multiple stitches or entire seams. I wish the handle was a little bigger, but that doesn't bother me.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Expandable

Perfect seam ripper

This is Sean's best seam ripper! It's great for removing upholstery or getting simple jobs done quickly. Keep it in a safe place as it is very sharp and can easily injure someone unfamiliar with it.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • So far so good

Essential tool when sewing

I love the seam ripper. Comfortable to hold and the sharp blade cuts through the smallest and tightest of stitches. Just remember to leave the lid on when not in use so it stays sharp and doesn't hurt. I hate making mistakes, but this is a quick and easy way to remove bad stitches.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This seam ripper was great when I first got it

I'm an intern at a repair shop so I rip seams all day. This seam ripper was great when I first got it. It was so sharp I cut the tip of my thumb and almost covered my Versace dress in blood! A week and a half has passed and now the blade is so blunt that I can cut it with my hand without cutting myself. I think I should have gotten one with spare blades.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • long time

Worked way better than I expected.

Wanted to remove the embroidery from some shirts. They were good shirts and I didn't like the fact that they were sent out for the weekend just because they had another company's logo on them. This little tool does an amazing job if used carefully. It won't speed up the job as the nature of the job is tedious unless you want to stretch, tear or cut the garment, but it will allow you to work with minimal effort. which reduces the number of errors. The thing is razor sharp. I'm not sure how long…

Pros
  • Model number: 18933
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

The best seam opener!

The absolute best ripper! My only regret is that I didn't purchase a pack of more blades. I've worked with lightweight fabrics so I was worried it might damage it and while it's possible it still works great. As with all seam rippers, a little caution is required. This is by far the fastest and easiest seam ripper I've ever owned. Tip: Once the stitching is torn and you have all the fine threads, try using a lint roller (sticky) to pull the threads out. He will get almost all! It looks a bit…

Pros
  • The Havel Seam Separator performs embroidery, overlock and regular seams with ease. Supplied with protective cover.
Cons
  • A little change
