Description of 🧹 Haviland 1424SE 3/16 1424SE EPDM Rubber Non-Marking Heavy Duty Serrated Applicator Squeegee 24" Length 3/16" Serration Gray

The applicator squeegee is an efficient method to apply epoxy sealers and urethanes as it spreads pigment and grit uniformly. Pliancy of rubber blade allows flexibility of material thickness through pressure and angle applied. The EPDM is a stiffer blade which allows for the serration to stand up. 3/16" Serration depth and height. 24" Length.

Poor design to attach to bar

Good construction, quality thick mop edge, I would give it five stars otherwise try to find a bar for it and find the end is not threaded, so a regular threaded broom or telescopic paint pole will not work. You have to buy a threaded rod, cut the end to a snug fit with your grandfather's pocket knife, then drill and attach the handle with screws just splitting the shank. Handle mid-work Push and pull 100% epoxy (not Rustoluem or Boxed Epoxy, their paint is thinner), even if you lose it in the…

Pros
  • 3/16 inch depth and height of teeth
Cons
  • small things

NOT SUITABLE FOR EPOXY

NOT SUITABLE FOR EPOXY! It hardly helps with spreading! What it takes 95% of the work I spread with a roller while chasing the clock, usually you have 40 minutes after 2 part a and 1 part b together so don't waste precious time with this squeegee i'm just trying to take care of other do it yourselfers like me.

Pros
  • 3/16" Score Depth & Height
Cons
  • Annoying

Poor design for attaching to handle

Well constructed, quality thick squeegee edge I would give it five stars otherwise try to find a handle for its End has no thread. A normal threaded broom or a painter's telescopic rod will not work. You have to buy a threaded rod, cut the end off with your grandfather's pocket knife to make sure it's tight, then drill and attach the handle with screws, which only splits the handle in half. Push and pull 100% epoxy (not Rustoluem or Box Store epoxy, their paint is thinner), even if you lose it…

Pros
  • EPDM - stiffer blade allowing prongs to stand up
Cons
  • weak

NOT SUITABLE FOR EPOXY

NOT SUITABLE FOR EPOXY! It almost didn't help spread at all! Just get a good size roller (no shedding, choose the right type and size) and that's all you need. I distributed 95% of the work with the roller while racing against the clock. You usually have 40 minutes after combining 2 parts a and 1 part b, so don't waste precious time with this squeegee. I'm just trying to keep an eye on other homemade guys like me.

Poor design to attach to the rod

Good construction, quality thick rim of the squeegee I would give it five stars otherwise try and find a rod for it and the end is unthreaded, The usual Broomstick threads or a telescopic rod for a painter do not work. You have to buy a threaded rod, cut the end off with your grandfather's pocket knife to make sure it's tight, then drill and attach the handle with screws, which only splits the handle in half. Push and pull 100% epoxy (not Rustoluem or shop epoxy, their paint is thinner), even…

Pros
  • Squeegee
Cons
  • boring packaging
