Enhanced Safety Valve for Hawkins Pressure Cooker Review

Works well. I was able to install myself! Edit: 3/3/15 - Two more ordered. Unfortunately we forgot to add enough water last time! I am attaching images for the tools used to fix this problem.

Used to prepare curry soups. Like the design. I've been using it for about 2 years and have had no complaints so far. Bought again for future use. It's a popular brand so parts should be easy to order and replace if they ever go bad. All I can say is come on

I highly recommend Hawkins. I have a different brand of pressure cooker and the valve that came with it was so flimsy that I had to reuse it twice in two weeks because it had a hole in it. Very frustrated I decided to buy the Hawkins brand not knowing if it would fit or not. It was a game I was ready for and luckily it was a perfect fit and I'm a happy customer.

replaced the valve on my existing pressure cooker. Participation in several culinary events. However, the third time I noticed the valve was broken and the melted bit ended up on the lid of the pressure cooker. It is sad that the quality of Hawkins products has dropped so drastically. I have other old ovens that have been working for over 4 years. However, the latest iterations seem to have major quality and reliability issues.
