👦 Hawkwell Outdoor Little Orange Boys' Hiking Shoes Review

I ordered these shoes for my son for school. He had his first in less than 3 months. They split up. He liked them so much because of the velcro that I decided to try again as they weren't too expensive and he insisted. This photo is the second pair that didn't even last as long as the others. Please don't waste your money.

We threw them away before I thought to take a picture but the sole literally frayed (worn out) in 3 weeks. Whatever you say about how different all kids are, three weeks of regular 6th grade classes shouldn't be enough to give you a hole in your sole. We already had to glue the part of the sole that was separating from the other shoe, but I didn't think about it because that can happen. However, the poor quality of the sole material used is unforgivable.

My picky kid loved these shoes and I was so happy I finally found a great looking pair of shoes that he couldn't complain about and loved! Unfortunately, after wearing them for 2 days only at school, the toes of the shoes were already worn out! Unfortunately I had to send them back. I wish the quality was much better because the fit and looks are top notch :(

Bought a month ago because they were on sale and seemed like a good deal for a gaming shoe. My kid said they are comfortable. These sneakers were worn regularly throughout the week (only for school, park and gym classes). They have not been overused and have not been used for sport. They are poorly made and are already falling apart! The left shoe was almost completely detached from the sole. I am sending them back and will not buy this brand again.

We've had these shoes for 5 weeks (just outside the return window) and have done 2 hikes. The soles are already falling apart. With all the 4 and 5 star reviews I figured this would be our new hiking choice. They were awesome while they lasted but I expect a pair of shoes to go over 5 miles.

I bought them for my son for Christmas. Now, in mid-February, they are literally falling apart. The entire outsole comes off the toe and is now halfway up the foot.

They appear to be true to size. Our four year old loved these for outdoor summer camp. They are easy to attach and are of very good quality.

We have a second pair as my little one has outgrown the first. It's hard to find smaller shoes, but these are great. They have excellent grip, are water-repellent and light. My toddler wears them on hikes and as everyday shoes.

These are great walking shoes for my 7 year old! We travel a lot as a family and this couple keeps on very well on the trail. But it is also very comfortable, she also likes to wear them as casual shoes. Fits true to size!

My daughter chose this among the $60 Merrill backpackers. We needed these for a short trip to California and haven't worn them much to say if they hold up overtime, but they fit well, don't blister and are perfect for the first hiker.

Good and decent shoes, the only problem is that the small side is narrow and it rubs so much that it feels damp and tender after 8 hours in it.

Not only is the outsole torn after wearing it for a month only on the weekends, the cord that is used as a shoelace is also torn well. We are very disappointed in them.

Date #2: April 2022: Replacement shoes keep the item well. Update: The seller contacted me to offer to replace the shoes even though we were outside the return window. We have received them. I'll be back to update again once we know if they hold up (with more photos). I really appreciate Hawkwell's support of their product. I love how durable these shoes are. I bought a pair in a smaller size and they worked so well this is my daughter's second pair. now that her legs have grown. recommended

Don't buy this. My grandson wore them once and the lace holders fell apart. It was streetwear and not even for hiking. A week later the toe came off the sole. Low quality.

I bought these for my daughter for our trip to Kauai. We wanted to go camping and it was great! My daughter has narrow feet and has a hard time finding shoes, but this allowed her to tighten or loosen them as needed. The sole has good grip!

The front part of the sole fell apart after 1 week. Shu put it back on, thinking we were fine. Now, at the end of the second month, there are holes in the soles, the soles of both shoes are breaking apart, the insoles are crumbling. Kids have a hard time with shoes, but it's just crazy.

I'm tired of children's shoes falling apart before they grow (all brands so far). Thought I would try a new brand and these fell apart too, but in only 3 months (for one of my kids). We usually need longer. ALSO they caused serious blisters even after 2 months (I have another child in another couple). The inside is not as soft as Skechers. Since Skechers last a bit longer and don't blister I think we need to go back. Too bad, I had high hopes for them.

I buy them for my daughter every summer. NO ERA LO QUE ESPERABA COMPRAR! If you are someone who walks a lot or plays in the park a lot, they are perfect.

The size is slightly larger, the material is a bit stiff. Bought on sale and got what I paid for. Not very happy with the quality (very average), keep it.
