Hayabusa THE BEST! - my new review

My kickboxing coach recommended this brand to me. I bought myself gloves and shorts, and I think it was one of the best purchases of my life!

Pros
  • Love these shorts for no-gi training.
Cons
  • The material used in the shorts is not very breathable, leading to discomfort during intense workouts

After a few washes, the shine faded.

Too expensive for the price they ask. After a few washes as described for the product , the fabric became glossy and all worn out. Not a quality product.

Pros
  • Active
Cons
  • The material is not very stretchy, limiting range of motion during workouts

Tighter than normal.

They are indeed nice shorts I wear size large and they fitted too tight will return and order xlarge hopefully theyll fit nice and not lose .

Pros
  • By far the best quality, fit and durability of the shorts we have tried.
Cons
  • Way smaller than expected - will be returning..

These shorts are amazing, however, if your legs are skinny they'll look like old man shorts. Get the longer ones if so. These are made awesomely though great shorts.

Pros
  • Clothing
Cons
  • The elastic waistband loses its elasticity quickly, causing the shorts to slip down during workouts

Extreme comfort: my feedback

These are perfect for MMA.there is plenty of room to geapple in and these are indeed meant to move in! But them it's worth every penny!

Pros
  • Hayabusa
Cons
  • The design of the hexagon pattern is unappealing to some customers

ITTY BITTY TEENY WEENIE

Virtually all mma fightshorts are made for smaller people maxing out at around 38 or 40" with small skinny legs.if you lift or are muscular its VERY DIFFICULT to find mma shorts. Luckily rugby shorts and wrestling shorts are made for European sized athletes and have all the important features you need on the mat

Pros
  • They are definitely short but good for jujitsu.
Cons
  • The waistband is tight and uncomfortable, leading to chafing and irritation

Order a size up best in my review

I ordered a size up because of the previous review. I'm happy I did. The fit well and are easy to move in. The only thing I don't like is the non slip material inside the waist band.

Pros
  • Exactly what hyabusa is designed for, training and fighting
Cons
  • The stitching is poorly done, causing the shorts to fall apart quickly

Perfect length for my opinion

It's hard to find good grappling shorts that don't go down to your knees and also don't limit your range of motion. I generally wear 5-7" shorts, regardless of activity; with a 6in inseam these are pretty darn close to right on. Fabric is a little thicker than anticipated, but isn't weird or scratchy like some combat shorts can be. Super tough and durable.becoming my go-to no gi shorts.

Pros
  • amazing,true to size,very comfortable for training!
Cons
  • The cost is too high for the quality of the product

Gonna look like you have a boner

Let me start of by saying these shorts look dope and they are most definitely durable, almost too durable like it feels like your wearing Kevlar boxers. So when you first put them on they look pretty good fit as expected but the Velcro in front is very still so if you plan on doing jiu Jitsu and you like to play open guard it’s gonna look like you got a straight rock hard boner so if your wondering why people are passing on the outside there ya go. Other than that wear some compression shorts…

Pros
  • I bit pricey but for kickboxing perfect
Cons
  • The seams are poorly placed, causing uncomfortable rubbing and chafing

Buy some compression shorts as well.

The most important thing to know about when buying these shorts Is they do run up so you might wanna buy a pair of compression shorts to go under these, but these things are an awesome fashion statement. Wether you're kickboxing, or doing taekwondo matches they're awesome.

Pros
  • B08F2STJZC
Cons
  • The shorts do not have any compression, leading to limited muscle support

270 lbs, 48W. XXL. for my opinion

So I'm sitting at 270lbs and I'm 48 at the waist. I believe the XXL is for 41-44W, but I'm at a 48W myself and it fits snug. If you're any bigger I'm afraid it might not work out. The "zipper" velcro is the one that's kinda being stressed, but the horizontal velcro strap is locking it all in. I'm able to kick just fine, but YMMV. Figured I'd leave this here for any big fellas who might need it. I'll be cutting weight soon and likely drop fast, but the velcro feels secure and I'm sure it'll…

Pros
  • The sleek and stylish design of the Hayabusa Hexagon Mid-Thigh Fight Short provides both comfort and agility for a fighter, allowing them to move freely and confidently during a fight
Cons
  • The shorts tend to shrink in the wash, causing further sizing issues

Great for Ju-Jit-Su

Bought these for one of my sons for Jiu-Jitsu. His brother told me that you have to pass a test to be able to wear shorts like this, and he would be needing them soon. He loves them, really nice and strong. I've watched his brother in tournaments, they have to be!

Pros
  • looks like it will last forever
Cons
  • The shorts are not durable and tend to fray after only a few wears
