Great weight and protection but the "BOA" lock failed after less than 20 hours of use. Disappointed overall as it didn't crash in the first 45 days of use so no exchange policy. Currently in contact for a warranty exchange but cannot use them until then.

These guards are amazing. The rear adjustment system is perfect. You didn't move an inch in sparring today. I blocked a lot of punches and felt nothing. Everyone thought they were really quirky. I have very skinny legs and I knew I needed something that didn't move when I walked. Highly recommended!

I do not recommend buying these guards. They're very comfortable and light while offering great protection, but they just don't stay in place when sparring. The so-called 'innovative design' on the back is ridiculous and almost useless if you plan to do any kind of mixed martial arts sparring or even basic kickboxing. In short, these pads are luxurious, but nothing more. Buy the Tokushu Regenesis Shin Guards instead.

These are definitely high quality shields. They stay right and protect well, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to take off. I assume you'll sweat putting them on, but even if everything is loose they're really hard to take off - it takes a lot of effort. Also, because of the button on the back, you can't wear them to sparring as that plastic button can be really dangerous if someone kicks it. I love the color and the lightweight feel but it's not worth the money or the hassle of wearing it. them/remove them.

I don't know why people think this is dangerous for sparring. These are heavy duty kickboxing/muay thai pads. The adjustment knob is securely located at the top of the calf, just behind and below the knee. This is a very awkward position to hit or grab and doesn't make any practical sense as a target area. If someone kicks you there, their shin/instep guards should protect them. For sweeping or dropping, the handle is too high to get caught. Even if the handle is pulled, the heavy duty rubber…

These are by far the most comfortable pads I have ever used. They protect everything, and they protect everything exceptionally well.
