Garbage. don't waste money.

Complete nonsense. Don't waste money. Too soft and flexible to get the job done properly. 75 gauge braided paracord would get at least the same results and most likely get the job done right. For this expensive add-on to be worth it and actually do the job it's advertised to do, it literally has to be 8 times harder.

See attached pictures for proper installation!

I was nervous about these accessories after reading so many disappointed reviews about not having enough fasteners to attach or not being secure. There were no instructions or pictures on this Amazon page showing how it should look. After googling the Hazard 4 packages I did some digging and finally found some pictures showing how to properly attach it to a backpack. You use both lights in the same installation location. One inside and one outside, so only 2 bolts and 2 nuts are needed. Itโ€ฆ

I'd be just as happy with a paracord loop (and I could still go.

Meh. Don't worry. I'd be just as happy with a paracord loop (and I could) all things considered I still go that route.) This "hard point" should be called "soft" because it's made of a soft, rubbery material. " period. Hazard4 makes an AMAZING bag. My PlanB-2017 is my favorite tactical bag But this pendant was a waste of money Not bad quality but could be 100x better I was planning on hanging a kevlar hekmet on this attachment point but I doubt it will hold the weight for long.
